2020 Caucus Project Voter Guide

The 2020 Voter Guide is intended to provide information on presidential candidates’ plans for rural America and the future of energy in the United States. The Voter Guide will tell Co-op Voters which candidates have an energy plan, which candidates have a rural plan, and each of their stances and ideas on relevant issues.

Every candidate who had entered the race by November 2019 was given the opportunity to respond to a five-question survey on issues facing Iowa’s electric cooperatives. Candidate responses can be viewed in their entirety on this page under “Related Documents.” If a candidate declined to complete the questionnaire, information was gathered from their campaign website.
